Solutions framework available now

After over 2 years of deep listening, primary research, and collaborative design thinking sessions with community and corporate leaders, the HeARTwork: Advancing Women in Leadership policy solutions framework is now live.

We believe that policy change exists at the intersection of art and business. To make this material truly accessible, we present this work with careful intention: in the format of an art-forward zine.

HeARTwork: Advancing Women in Leadership represents a movement towards embracing mental wellness as a foundational component for success in business. All HeARTwork merchandise proceeds support programming dedicated to the full and equal participation of diverse women across Corporate Canada.

…but why do many women choose to opt out? This is a movement towards reclaiming the narrative; we're uncovering the authentic experiences that affect women's decision to advance in the workplace.

HeARTwork takes a fresh approach to tackling an age-old equity and inclusion issue. By conducting a national deep-listening tour across Canada in 2021, women from all backgrounds and industries could anonymously share their stories and feelings about working in corporate roles. The project has just entered its second phase, where it plans to bring women together with corporate leaders to examine the primary research findings and together, co-create a national “solutions framework” to support diverse women and their advancement into more senior roles in business.

SHARE YOUR STORY

This program is hosted at the local, regional, and national levels with key partners from government, industry, and community. We’d love to hear from you.

We believe that music is a universal language that speaks to our hearts, rather than just our minds. That is why we have enlisted the support of our Lunar Studios’ Artists in Residence to turn this ground breaking research into a song. By using multiple mediums to share these important ideas, we engage a wider audience and invite new voices around the table.
